Day 2

It was a good day. Poland won silver medal and Canada won silver medal. I am Canadian that was born and raised in Poland so I'm cheering for both teams.

And here is my Heart of the Valley:

and just to remind, this is how it will look when is done:

I'm stitching it on 28 ct Jobelyn with white silk floss and DMC.

  1. I love that you've put up the medals table. As we've watched the competitions, my family has held their breath for each competitor as they neared the end of the perspective runs, cheered for the winners, agonized with those that didn't do so well and even laughed at the speed skaters that were pushing so much that they knocked each other down and therefore lost to the more noble skaters. While we are Americans through and through, we just feel the need to cheer for them all. Beautiful, strong, poised, muscle-attuned athletes that have worked so hard, for so long, and endured so much adversity truly deserve my admiration and respect. And I am truly willing to give it. as I stitch on. LOL

  2. It reminds me of an olympic village, so a very good choice!
